Last year we celebrated 10 years of the Utility Industry Achievement Awards. Since their inception in 1996, the awards have been seen as the ultimate recognition of excellence in the utilities sector - no other awards in the water, energy and telecoms sectors carry such prestige and value as the annual Achievement Awards, presented by Utility Week in association with our sponsors. The Utility Industry Achievement Awards are not just for the very large companies or multi-million pound projects – they are intended to recognise excellence across the industry, no matter what the sector, the size of the company or the scale of the project. The ten award categories are open to any company involved in the utilities sector, including energy suppliers, distributors and generators and water companies as well as the contractors, consultants and other partners that provide essential services to utility companies. Entries will be judged by independent panels of industry experts who are hard to impress, so it is worth making the effort to ensure sure your entry is as professional as the company it represents. The awards will be presented at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday 10th December 2007, and we can once again promise the evening will be a night to remember. Just being at the awards is a special night out, but for the winners it is especially memorable. So if you have a team, project or company to be proud of, let the whole world know. |
